the fire inside me glows
burning colors making art alive
the opened door night can't close
running out into the world

I put pencil to paper
and sketched and dreamed
but just to become a better artist
no, there was more, it seemed

winds of change blew in the air
time to share my creations
my scenes of animals and characters
soaring around the world to many nations

maybe I would just improve at art
and gets lots of comments and faves
yet a new journey had to start
miles away, destiny made its waves

from so far away
who knew what fate held
try and change it we may
the unlikely art time might weld

from the Golden Coast
to a Scottish town
the bonds we cherish most
form bridges that never go down

and my art soared higher
while our fursonas came together
love for apples, rainbows, and night flight
did far more than one alone ever might

because friendship is priceless, as anyone knows

I put stylus to tablet
and colored and shaded
for reasons one should never forget
a masterpiece of family or friendship is never faded

I wanted a world to make and share art
and found a universe more
than what I thought from the start
in the journey of life, that's what friends are for

So this is my artwork and song for Ronnie. Previously ~Ronika12 and ~AppleMutt, she's now ~tyronniesaur. From the beginning when I found her art in Spring 2010, I was astonished to see such a vivid artistic world created and shared with the world by a truly dedicated individual. It wasn't just the art style or variety in the gallery, but the whole idea of connecting to others wherever they might be in the world. Making friends online with a family atmosphere and creating such incredible art for others. I realized that the discovery of this kind of online world and experience was one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. I never imagined anything like that could exist, or that anyone else ever tried the kind of animal art and writing that I did.

I have to credit not just the style of Ronnie's art, but the kind of person who she is too. For awhile, just seeing that level of art and how close her friends were made me think, wow, that's really a level beyond what I could ever be like artistically or socially. I spent several months practicing my art and got a tablet prior to joining dA. Anyway, when I did, I was sure to make one of her artworks (in storage) my first favorite and comment about the style deserving to be in animated movie. I made this for her birthday later that month

and was so glad to get my first comment on an artwork! Since then, as we've talked more, I've come to know Ronnie as an artist who really cares about taking time to offer comments and helpful advice to anyone regardless of being a new artist or long-time friend. Because no matter how many more pageviews or fans she gets, she's still the same caring person who offers encouragement and support to friends and fans alike.
